Dubai Course

If you are new to the world of coaching, we recommend that you read this pamphlet before you choose a course.

Why Attend?

If you are looking to become a great coach or to consolidate your coaching skills and have global recognition for your achievement; this is the course for you. Invest in this programme to gain an accredited coaching qualification from Association for Coaching (AC) and part 1 of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Accredited Coach Training Programme (ACTP) as well as a separate certification in use of the Extended DISC psychometric tool.

Course Schedule

This intensive course is run over seven days in Dubai plus two remote assessment days.

 

Day 1: Introduction to coaching, the Professional Associations, Competences and Ethical codes.

Day 2: Transactional Analysis; knowing yourself.

Day 3: Contracting, Boundaries, Questioning, Listening Skills, Challenge, the GROW and SCORE models.

Day 4: Extended DISC psychometrics.

Day 5: Language, Clean Language and Metaphor.

Day 6: Creative coaching including sandplay.

Day 7: Logical Levels, Archetypes of Change.

Assessments via Skype or Recorded by appointment.

During the programme delegates will:

Be continually observed and assessed in their coaching by peers and experienced coaches using clear standards and criteria as defined by the Association for Coaching & ICF.

Observe and assess peers in their coaching and use coaching to aid the planning and development

of a personal learning programme.

Achieve the training accreditation necessary to progress to full accreditation with the AC

All delegates receive a copy of The Virtual Coach CD Rom as part of their course materials

Be provided with a comprehensive resource pack and full versions of psychometric questionnaires for practice with clients.


Please note: although this course is part 1 it is also a stand-alone course for those who do not wish to pursue personal credentialing with the ICF.
